Q: Why is Turtle Sprint only available on iPad?
A: The current Apple iPad models on the market use two screen sizes (1024 x 768 and 2048 x 1536), which helps to simplify the app development process (e.g. coding bugs, art assets). Alternatively, the Android tablets currently on the market have multiple resolutions that we would need to prepare for. We may release a version of Turtle Sprint for Android tablets in the future but more work will be needed first to maintain the same level of quality that we’ve created for the version available for the Apple iPad.
Q: How did you guys decide how the work should be divided up?
A: For Turtle Sprint, we chose to divide work up based on our interests, strengths, and familiarity with what we would need to achieve. Since it’s just the two of us, we both had a say in each part of the project as it came together and as we asked each other for feedback, brainstormed, and iterated throughout.
Q: What do I do if I come across a bug?
A: First, please let us say thank you for playing and for your interest in Turtle Sprint! We’ve performed extensive bug testing between the two of us and with different iPads but realize we cannot always catch everything.
